A friend of mine came by with this old Tripod today, he's curious about it. A google search turned up nothing, I wondered if anyone here had any info about it? A Dahlian's 243 With Pan Head. Nice little unit in it's day, if a touch rickety at full extension. Would make a good tripod for a GRD or little P&S body.

I have three of these "Table Top" tripods, although none of them are the same Name Brand as yours...
I've used them with decent results when mounting a 35mm camera (Nikon FE)...I do not use them when extended all the way but do trust them with two or three extension pulled out...plus it helps to use them with a cable release or the camera's self-timer...
