Well-known
I recently got an Olympus OM-2S Program.
It looks great, but the mirror stays up after releasing the shutter.
It has brand new SR44W silver oxide batteries.
The camera functions perfectly in B or 60 setting, but the mirror stays up on the other speeds. If I push the mode selector to battery check, the mirror drops and I can recock the shutter.
I know the batteries are good and I've tried doing the reset by moving the shutter speed dial to B.
I haven't tried it with film in it (I don't have any right now). Would that make any difference?
Any suggestions???
