I sold an Olympus OM-F (OM-30). The buyer contacted me and said the camera is not changing shutter speeds.
I told him to try it with a roll of film in it. Which he did and new batteries.
He said:
- In B mode the shutter opens and close even holding the shutter release button,
- In Manual mode the speed selection does not interfere in the result. Always shoot at same rate.
- In Auto the camera should read info from metering (which is working) and select the appropriate shutter speed, but again, it’s not happening.
I did all testing using film inside with brand new L44 batteries, also changed the ASA and no improvement.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
