I have an old Olympus OM10, and have tried recently to clean the electromagnets at the bottom of the shutter chamber. I could not remove the covering of the electronics and while lifting it up I have removed something like a sticky silver foil without caring where it came off from.
Does anybody know what was that for? It works of course, but does the exposure now get negatively affected?😱

That sticker had nothing on it. I had a look and I have the suspicion that it could be some sort of insulator (non-metal). I wonder if that is the case and what could now go wrong.
I have found the repair manual. It is stated as T Tape, T Insulator. I guess now that it must be prone to something. Could it be EM interference?
