So...I had been using my OM1n this past week. Today when I picked it up, the film advance was slack and moved back and forth with no tension.
Is there anything I can do to fix?
Perhaps if a clutch or something is gone, it may be cheaper to buy a Winder2 than to get fixed.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

You mean wind lever doesn't spring back or it moves and doesn't feel like it's connected to anything but springs back? Could be a broken wind spring, or the wind clutch plates are stuck together. Another area that should be done dry to work properly. John

Hi John...it doesn't feel like it is connected to anything but springs back (slowly).
I also have a black OM1 that is sluggish. You did such a great job on my Pen FV that I am thinking about sending both OMs your way to bring back to life.

It is common for the clutch plates in the wind pawl to get stuck together. Also, very common for wind pawl itself to eventually chip. John
