*just a random thought*
From what I've read, many RF users also enjoy this little gem of an SLR.
I've been trying to get rid of mine for quite some time (a feeling rekindled by the recent purging threads), but have never gotten around to it.... It's posted, then after fondling it, dry firing, peeking through that wonderful VF, the post comes down.
It definitely is the closest thing to an RF that an SLR can get.
It's non-bulky physique with its quieter-than-other-SLR mirror slap is great for urban snapshots. Also, I think it's just so dang sexy looking....
Cheers, j

I have this same problem. If I am ever going to be able to get rid of my om2 I will have to put a piece of tape over the viewfinder so that I cannot pick it up and look through it.

I'll take it !! If you ever REALY WANT to get rid of it.
I had an OM4 in the 80's, Loved it. So I know what you mean. Om2 with a 35mm is a great candid street shooter.

It just needs some company, an OM-1 or OM-4, a few f2 lenses (I use 28 and 85), a 180/2.8 and the question will never come up again ...
For me anyways
Roland.

I was noticing that I really get that special feeling about my Pentax. It isn't quite as small as an OM, but it still makes a great shooter.

you mean to buy?
take a look at mcbain's website and check out the used gear.
vintage visuals is in calgary and they have a pretty good used section on the site too.
i got most of mine here, bought a bunch of lenses and then decided on the 3 primes to keep. maybe should have kept the 28 too...

Probably against my better judgment I'm getting rid of mine...
However it's not gone yet and I've already caught myself looking at OM4 bodies on fleabay. My problem with the 2 was the mirror slap when doing high magnification stuff (well that's the way I'm justifying it!)
Since the objective was to end up with less cameras after this exercise maybe the Nikon will have to go instead.
Roland is probably right though - and those f/2 lenses sound very nice, although the 85s are getting really expensive these days. Not seen a 28/2 for a while so I guess they are too. My kit before most of it was stolen was the 28/2.8, 50/1.4 and 100/2.8 but this time I'm going after 28, 50/3.5 macro and 85 I think... never really got on with the 50/1.4.

All of my other cameras would go first before my OM-2n goes.
