I love the second shot. Really good framing and perspective. I like the clouds against the frozen puddles and the dark trees. For me there's a little too much sky in the first photo and not enough foreground interest. I'll have a look at the others. I love the Salisbury Plain. Such an eerie and atmospheric place.

Chris,
I just took a brief look at your website before I have to get back to work.
May I say... WOW! Really superb collection of landscapes. I love the small houses, cottages placed far away... giving a great feel of what it might be like to live out in that much space. I grew up out in the vast desert country of Nevada (here in the U.S.) and my landscape photos also take on this look.
Have you thought of getting a book of the entire collection published?

Thanks Jamie.
I thought about only recently when Black and White Photography Magazine (UK) published an article on Blurb books. I've got a bit to do yet, several 'aspects' of the Plain I want to capture but I'm definitely thinking along those lines.

Nice work! If you do go with Blurb, think about selecting the large 12x12 size with premium paper. I did two books last year - one on Paris and the other on Ireland and UK. Both in B&W. I was very pleased with the results and looking at your images I think you will be too. Several people have commented that I could/should sell copies which is a Blurb option. Haven't done that but you might think about it as well.
(I think I was motivated by the same magazine article you mentioned).

I like your pictures, included the ones on your website. The first picture here really gives me a sense of relax which living in a crowded area helps me to relax! Thank for posting

PS I sometimes read "Black and White Photography" UK maybe one day I'll find your pictures there...
