One week in the greatest city. One week shooting street.
Hope you like it.

You´ll find more pics on my blog.

You have a few shots here that I love, and an awful lot more in your blog. Hope many take the time to look at it. The amount of photos of Istanbul on the blog and the choice of subjects, made me almost feel like I was there too. And the feeling for the place became even more real through the color shot series. What a photogenic city! Nice use of your wide angles BTW.

I really like #4 and #12, but great work. What kind of focal lengths are you using here, they don't seem to all be the same...#6 especially made me feel like I was right there with him!

Said, a substantial documentary of Istanbul is your blog; impressive!... How many days you spent there? BTW, I liked the way you employ the 28mm frame, fits your style perfectly.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I spent one week with three photographer friends at the beginning of april. We had to go during the school holidays, so it won´t fit with the Euromeet.
The most pictures were shot with the Voigtländer Ultron 28/2 and the Voigtländer Super Wide Heliar 15/4.5.

I love the guy with the bread stacked on top of his head. Once in Mexico I saw a kid with little loaves of bread about 4-5 inches in length standing upright on a tray above his head going to sell them. I was not fast enough to catch him as he was walking and when I asked him to stop and let me take a picture of him he put his hand up to hold the tray. This lost the balancing act for me.

Great shots! I quite like the "Carpet Man" as well. The sense of repetition is palpable to me... sameness... rug after rug, day after day.

Very fine work and, as said before, very interesting city. I must check out that 28/2. Does the talent come in the box with the lens?
