One for Brian Sweeney!

Don't have one of those!

1991 manufacture- we were flying experimental Digital Sensors onboard P3's in 1981.

2500mm lens. F8. That would make a great Telescope. I'll put a watch on it!

Brian, If you get this one, then maybe you and Zhang could have a shoot out; you know, portraits at 10...miles.
:D

I have at home a large Leica ELCAN lens without a known camera mount. Maybe it has some use?

My longest lens right now is a 1000mm Meade C90. Use it for bird watching. Bird portraits at 100ft.

How big is that Elcan?

It states: 7:1/4.5 Hughes Leitz ELCAN.

Can it be somehow used? Any way.

There are some strange optics out there. I have a lens from an Optical Computer that used (Pinky to lips) LASERS to perform the computations At Fantastic Speeds. They were made in the 1980s, and cost about 40,000 per lens. They are very pretty, and very heavy.

Will the lens fit any of your RF cameras, Brian? :D:cool::cool::p

Hello Ryan,
That lens have a focusing ring? Post a picture of the rear part. May be a adapter fixed at infinite is a way to give use to this lens, at the end, I do not think that should be used for close distances.
Amedeo.

Hello Raid,
I am sorry, was a confusion of names. I am talking about your 7:1/4.5 Hughes Leitz ELCAN. Please let see the mount of this lens.
Amedeo.

Amedeo,
If you look at posting Nr. 8, the photo on the right shows the rear of the lens. There is no mount. It may have been screwed on to something.
