Well, this is a new one. I am being invited to do business with "one of the greatest business Mongols of all time." I feel so special!

Anyway, thought I'd pass this latest scam along for what it may be worth. It's funny, anyway.

If you have an anonymous email account (dynamic IP address is a good idea, too) you might consider wasting his time for as long as you care to. Always a good time, especially if you can actually make them mad. 🙂
 
Ask him to mail a photograph of himself holding up a board on which is written:

'T.W.A.T. (Trustworthy With All Transactions).'

Just to prove he is who he says he is.
 
Write back that you represent an investment company and are interested in a greatly expanded business opportunity with him and his leader.
 
write back that you had a similar offer from another company in West Africa, but that the advance payment was 80%, Their selling price is $5995 per carton, but their purchase cost is only $1500. Sp why would you bother with him.

Then tell him to produce a letter of credit from an International Banking House for the number of cases he wishes to purchase from you at $3000, a special discount due to his urgent need, and you can ship directly from current stock in your Lagos, Nigeria warehouse.

Remy, I believe he meant "business mogul"... a great personage, a magnate (not magnet of course!). Writer did really get it messed up.

But oddly enough, "mogul" in English, now implying a powerful rich business person, seems to have derived from a powerful personage, the Great Mogul or Mughul, one of the Mongol conquerors of India or their descendants. So it does wrap back to the term the writer wrongly used!
 
actually, the word surprised me, it's clear the person who wrote it has some bare french skills, though in french Mongol designates either an inhabitant of mongolia, or it's a rough (bad) way to designate a trisomic person.
