We're all light!
Ah, my poor city's economy, she ain't what she used to be...like, say, eleven months ago. So, once again, it's time to get creative with taxes (though I might use one or two additional adjectives as well, neither of which can be published here).
New York Magazine's "Daily Intel" column this week dished out some truly creative ideas for picking our pock...that is, generating additional tax revenue, with a true New York spirit, and invited readers to come up with some of their own. Obviously, I couldn't resist, and added my own devalued 2¢ to the fray.
How about your hamlet? What would you do if you were King of your corner? (Besides change your name to Chrysler...no, that only worked once...)
