OT: Praktica B to M42 or K adapter?

I received a call today from someone who would like to know if Praktica B lenses can be adapted for use on Pentax M42 bodies, or, preferably, on Pentax K bodies. It's a long shot, but there's so much knowledge here that I told him I'd ask on the forum.

Anyone heard of an adapter that will do this?

I also directed him to the classic camera forums on pnet and nelsonphoto.

Thanks, Gman. That goes the wrong way around, adapting M42 lenses to Praktica B. The person phoning knew about these -- he wants to use his Praktica B lenses on a Pentax body, if it's possible.

Pretty esoteric wish -- he owns a lens he's extremely fond of and wants to be able to use it on his *istD

IMO, any adapter that permits using Praktica B-Mount lenses on an M42 mount camera will not focus to infinity judging from the M42 - B-Mount adapter. The mount would not permit the proper flange-to-film distance.
