Hello,
I just developed a roll from my Kiev 4A, and have discovered that the film spacing is highly uneven! I have had this problem with my Kiev 35A (non-RF), and am wondering what I can do to alleviate the slight overlap. It happens every 2 to 3 frames, and seems like some of the winds aren't even... I ensured that the film was placed into the sprocket holes and made sure everything was secured.... Any say on this?

Are you using a factory take-up spool? I found with homemade ones that film spacing is often uneven, particularly near the beginning of the film.

Hmm, yeah I think the culprit -may- be the takeup spool. It's the original Kiev one (with KNEB on the top and bottom) and there isn't a little piece of plastic to one of the sprocket holes on the film onto. GARGHHHHHHHH! I would like to try that homemade Kiev spool, or somehow modify my extra FED's takeup.
