Pana Leica 12mm f1.4 vs Pana 24mm f1.8, thinking

I know, I know. Apples and oranges. Different systems, different sensor sizes. But I'm thinking of either one of these lenses and will probably end up with both, just figuring out which will be more useful. Thinking out loud with the RFF collective wisdom to throw suggestions and rocks at me, haha.

PL 12: Excellent image quality, good low light performance which helps with the four thirds sensor, compatibility across my many m43 cameras which include very small bodies. I've wanted one for many years, and they are generally more expensive new than I want to spend. They turn up secondhand for reasonable money now and again, I just want to decide whether I get this, or the full frame equivalent.

Pana 24: reviews suggest great image quality, f1.8 will offer more shallow depth of field than f1.4 on micro four thirds, it has the advantage of use on my S5, S1 and SL2-S and all the image quality that implies. There's a sale on right now where it is less expensive new than the PL 12 secondhand, which is very surprising and uncommon.

The logical answer is the Pana 24, as it will give me full frame image quality and high ISO performance in the same focal length range as the PL 12. I know I would use it as a walk around lens with my SL2S because I used to love the Zeiss Biogon 25 on my M9 until it developed the dreaded scuffy focus ring. But I've wanted the PL 12 for so long, I've got an emotional attachment to getting it. Arrr...

Edit: the Pana 24 has just gone back up to normal street price! More fool me for sleeping on it. So now I'll wait for the PL 12 to hit the right price and pounce when it does. 😆

I was literally clicking in to the website to buy it when I saw that it had gone back up to normal. Original retail was AUD $1800. Street price is $1650. It went down to only $800 for a few days and then went back up to $1650. I'd be surprised if it turns up for $800 secondhand, let alone brand new.

Original retail of the PL 12 is AUD $2300! Street price is between $1700 and $1800. They have turned up secondhand in Australia for $850 - $990, on occasion even less, so I'm waiting now.
