Good point in article: why spend time and money in increasingly competitive full frame mirrorless segment, when they don’t have existing lens systems to support. Go bigger like Fuji did.

Reads like a lot of it is about video capability - Panasonic's long suit? In which case FF makes some sense. Plus I guess Panasonic don't have MF lenses anyway, and going for FF gives access to the canonikon back catalogue.

Makes sense, they've had a fixed lens FF mirrorless for 3 years now, so it was only a matter of time.
