Hello,
I just got a Horizon S3 U500 rotating lens camera - lucky me. However, I notice the lens rotates at the same speed al the time, at least, thats how it sounds. Itake it is the gap in the shutter, not the rotation speed, that gives me the correct exposure, yes?

Yes.
If you put it on the slow speed with the back open you can see the difference in the gap.
