I used to march in them years ago as a 1st Trumpet and compete in competitions with other marching bands in the 60's & 70's.
A lot of my friends went on to perform in Drum Corp International (DCI) competitions and are still engaged in Senior Corps. Lots of good memories with comradery and friendships still to this day...
