Spleenrippa
Yes, Right There
Some of you recall my thread from a week ago or so moaning about the lack of dark room equipment in my area.
Right as I was about to bite the shipping cost and use the big auction site I got a phone call.
Basically, miss had gone digital and wanted to get rid of her darkroom. But, she wanted it gone in one shot. She mentioned a Beseler 23C and a few misc items. We agreed on $150 and I drove over.
Well, to assuage my conscience, I paid her $200. I had to give her that much, considering I walked away with:
Beseler 23C II w/ 3 lenses and 35/6x6 carriers
Omega B22 with lens and carrier
Multiple filter sets for the enlargers
A pair of grain focusers
A ton of stainless reels and tanks for 35 and MF
A lovely contact printing device- hinged glass that locks. cool.
Big handful of negative archival/storage pages
Boxes of paper ranging from 4x6 to 8x10 (not sure how old)
Trays ranging from 11x14 to 16x20
A big bin in which I found a safelight, half a dozen graduated cylinders, 3 enlarger timers, tongs, hangers, and a few small items.
... and a copy stand
To top it off, the lady seems to be quite involved in a local gallery/cooperative so I may have just made a good contact

Nice start, good job!
The contact itself is pretty handy when you start producing quality prints
