I just found this fascinating documentary about Patrick Brown, a documentary photographer who has photographed subjects like the plight of the Rohingya people, prison fighting in Asia, and many more controversial and overlooked subjects. His work is remarkable.

Patrick Brown is an Emmy Award-winning documentary producer, photographer and visual storyteller with over 30 years of experience creating human-centered stories, the environment, and social impact. Based between Australia, Copenhagen, London and Bangkok, he works with NGO's media organisation, Film
He photographed the animal trade work with two Nikon FM2 bodies, a 28mm and 35mm, and a Rolleflex. A bit of research suggests that the 28mm is the 28mm f2.8 AIS, and the 35mm is the 35mm f1.4 AIS. At the time, he said that no digital body would withstand the environmental conditions of his work. He describes opening up the backs of his Nikons and drying them by a fire overnight!
