Hi all. I have just produced a pdf book of my current work and you can download it from:
http://jonlister.com

In Safari just right click on the link "pdf download" and when complete, view in Preview @ fullscreen.

Why is this relevant here? All the photographs were shot with my 5 year old M8 and 28mm elmarit asph.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Jon

Just had a quick look - plenty there to keep the eyes busy for a while!

Thanks for sharing - cheers!

Thank you, Jon! Nice website, excellent photos in your ebook too.

Bondi Beach ... I was there 11 years ago and want to visit again. It's a long way from home, but I'll get there again some day.

Thanks for the comments.
I hope all who downloaded the pdf got something from it.
I would be interested to know if anyone viewed it on an iPad or other tablet - how did it look? I didn't design it with that kind of format in mind - but I am curious..
It is a pleasure to share photography with those that are interested!
Cheers,
Jon

I love the way you took advantage of lights and shadows

Which software did you use to create the pdf?

by the way, on my ipad2 everything works perfectly....

Thanks Luuca.
I used Indesign CS5 to design the book and convert to pdf.
Good to know the pdf works with the iPad.
Cheers,
Jon

Hey Jon,

I loved your e-book. I also live in Sydney and find your pics quite interesting. I kinda realised that there are heaps of office slavers in your shots who left their buildings to have a smoke at Martin Place and around. Not quite sure, but I think one of them is my friend who works at Westpac - 275 Kent St.

Just a quick question, are all your photographs candid shots? With a 25mm lens, you need to get quite close for most of your shots, and even with 40mm I quite struggle.

I'll say hi if I see you around Martin Place! :)

Hi Kutitta. I use a 28 which translates to a 38mm lens on the M8. I have been using this combo almost exclusively for 5 years so I know exactly what I am going to get. I do get very close sometimes. I never engage with the people I photograph unless they talk to me, which is rare - I keep moving. I prefer that they don't even know they have been photographed - at least until I have the picture...
Be sure to say hi if you see me!
Cheers,
Jon

OK, I forgot about the crop factor! I do respect your work and style, as I get really paranoid with 40mm lens when I get close to people. I don't know if there is a known cure for this disorder! :)
