Does anyone have a Pelican case they use for their Mamiya 7 with an 80mm attached? I think a Pelican 1300 might work but I'm not sure.

Looking to do a bit of travel later in the year and Europe next year so, I'm looking for something small/ hard case that I can carry on. I want to keep it super minimal and as small as possible. I'm thinking I'll occasionally how this in the bottom of a 45L pack in between places while commuting.

Thanks!

Th 1300 will work just fine.

Why do you want a Pelican case? You can't work out of one, so you will still a shoulder bag to shoot out of. I keep my M7 with 80mm and 65mm in a Domke f10, or, if I want, a Domke F6 or a Think Tank 7 in order to leave room for other gear.

Pelican is good for weather and water protection when necessary. It's not to carry around as a camera case. That's how I use the 1300. There is not room for a second lens but filters and a roll of film or two.

Can you show some pics of the M7 with the 65 and 80 in the F10 ?
