I just got my Pentax 6x7, immediately, took a Neopan 100 Acros and shot it. Here are some of the shots. First time after 5 rolls that I get a good development. I used Ilford Ilfotec DDX (1:9) 16min at 68F.

Nice going, I have trouble taking a bad picture with my Pentax 6x7. Without a doubt the best camera I've owned, except for the size and weight.
This is a recent 'snapshot' from 6x7, one of the few times I've taken it out like a 35mm camera:

There's lots of love for the big old Pentax in our house. It's an outstanding camera and if you set it up right it doesn't have to be back-breakingly heavy. I've got one of my bodies set up as a lightweight 4x5 machine:
6x7 body
45mm f4 lens
Waist level finder
It's strong enough to throw in a lightweight courier bag with virtually no padding. Add a couple of rolls of film and a couple of filters and you have a serious camera that you can carry all day.
Enjoy your Pentax!

Great results here! A superb camera that like the Mamiya C series TWIN lens gains sharpness, with straight run film, unlike the Hasselblad.
The Hasselblad Zeiss lenses are better but the turns of the magazine also the turns in Rolleis, do affect sharpness, esp. near end of roll.
i loved my "Fat Albert" but the weight and bulk as i grew weaker and older, a severe problem! Sadly the small images of the internet don't give the whole quality. i never printed larger than 24"x 18" approx.

I want one of these.
I want one of these.
I've been looking for about a year. Leery of ebay. Would LOVE to get a p67II but I'd settle for a 6x7 with mirror lock-up or a p67. Have a couple lenses already.
Does anyone know which focuses closer; the 150 2.8 or the 165 2.8?

I've bought three 6x7 bodies from Japanese eBay sellers and they have all been great and exactly as described. The old 6x7 and 67 bodies seem to be very reliable, so I wouldn't worry too much. I've heard a lot more about 67ii bodies breaking down.

I find the 165mm 2.8 to be a better lens for some extra separation between me and the subject, but I still enjoy the 105 as the go to lens.

The 165/2.8 is as good as everyone says it is. The 180/2.8 Sonnar for P6 beats it but that's probably one of the best portrait medium format lenses ever.

Did you use Ilford Delta 400 for your photos? Loving the greys and blacks!
I would love a Pentax 67 but...I think I'm ok with my 6x6 for now...

Sometimes I think the only way to take a bad photo with the P6x7 is to miss the focus. And that can happen!

I was kind of joking about not taking a bad picture. I wish I were that good but I have missed some focuses with the 6x7.
