I hope so too. Pentax is going to make a killing if they price it according to the rumor

pentax definitely have said they were working on one but these specs look a bit shifty

"100% 0.95X Optical Viewfinder" that's just an APS-C copy and paste for sure
$1299 can't even be true

makes me regret selling off my limited lenses though 🙁

the rumored specs and price are for the aps-c pentax k-3. there are no details on the full frame pic.

I would rather it be a mirrorless FF but if it is a DSLR I'll get it. Even though I hate hauling DSLRs around.

If it comes next year, this will be just 6 years too late for me. I got tired of waiting and picked Sony's Alpha 900. I have not regretted it, except for the Pentax K mount glass I had. M42 Takumars are terrific on the Sony though.

I agree. It seems kind of late for Pentax IMO. I'd imagine that most serious digital (slr) shooters would have switched to Canon, Nikon, or Sony by now.

well I just got into the Pentax system and have full frame lenses so good
news for me if I wanted to go to full frame.

This would be tough niche for Pentax if they keep the 645D on the market too. But maybe they have to do it to stay in the game.

I'm not sure if I'd buy one, well I might as I rather like my K100D and Pentax has done better than others in the user interface. Besides, I still have my FA Limited lenses! 😉

I hope it does finally arrive. I have held onto my Pentax glass believing it will finally occur. Look at the 645D, that camera took forever to finally appear. Meanwhile film in my LX and a scanner is as good as full frame, just a bit slower.
