I've posted on this topic before. We've had a few get-togethers that were both fun and productive. Is anyone interested in trying to organize again. I miss the great conversation we had. Bill (i.e. Vagabond) has left the area, but Al, I hope is still present. Is anyone else interested? South Jersey and Delaware work. Last couple of times we met at 30th Street Station. Is there any interest? If so, let me know what weekend days work best.

Respectfully,

Jeff Greene :D

I'm still around but work in NYC right now.

I'm still around but work in NYC right now.

I've been commuting to New York for a while, working Sunday to Thursday on an off shift doing computer support work. I might be able to make a Saturday again when I get back to day shift later this month.

Philly guy now living in Delco - I'm in. Sounds like fun, 30th Street Station works. Please keep me in the loop.

I was stationed at the Phila Naval Shipyard in 81 when our ship came in for an overhaul. Wish I was up there now. Phila is a great place for photopps., that would rival NYC anyday IMO. Good luck with the meet.

Nick:

Doesn't look like a great deal of interest, but if you'd like to get together in early December or after the holidays, let me know. We'll see if we can rope Al in as well. :<)

How's it look for a get-together in the near future? Let me know. ;)

I'm usually around on Sundays these days. I'm working in Queens these days and get back late on Saturdays.

I'm busy on the 9th of December, but almost any Sunday I can get up to Philly if I have a few days notice.

I don't exactially remember the location, down near, or on Front street. Stood an an old colonial bldg. that served the best hot buttered rums. Just excellent after an outing. I wish I had one right now. Better yet, I wish I was there.

It's been 26 years but the City Tavern seems to ring a bell. Wonderful area for photo opportunities. Street as well, I remember seeing someone rolling another man down a busy sidewalk lying in a hospital bed holding out a tin cup for change.

Old City and South Street are pretty cool areas. Last time we met at 30st Station and walked around the center city area. Old City would be neat...

I should be around on the 16th.

I'm definitely in, boys. Whenever it is, I'm there. We should probably use PMs as this thread "sinks" it's a case of out of sight, out of mind.

Ya know what might be fun? NYC is just a hop, skip, and a jump... maybe, if not now, down the road, we can meet up with our friends in the big apple.

I actually work in Queens right now, so I would probably have an easier time getting into Manhattan than Philly. I just know my way around Philly better, as I've lived in the area since 1962.

South Philly guy - yo! How 'bout dem birds? Gonna lose, but hey - it's all about makin' it respectable (ala "Rocky")

NYC sounds like a possibility, but let's plan on the 16th in Olde City. Great thought. Why don't we meet at 30th St or Market St. which is much closer. Let me know what you think Nick and Al!

I'm a new guy to this forum. I live in NW Philly, work in center city, and although I've had hot buttered rum, I prefer my rum straight.

Tied up from now through the holidays, but perhaps I could join you guys sometime.
