I've just returned from a presentation of a group of 4 young Slovak photographers, who are trying to do documentary photography the classic way - the Bresson way and the Magnum way. They call themselves PHOS.
There are 4 guys between 29 and 39 years old. One is a professional newspaper photographer who does street documentary photography as a hobby (Matus Zajac), one is a priest and takes pictures in places and circumstances an outsider could not (Andrej Lojan), and one does photography only in free time beside his day job (Laco Madar). Very interesting people, and I think the photographs are of very high quality.

PS: 3 of them shoot thir documentaries od film. Only the newspaper photographer (Matus Zajac) shoots digital.
