Curious - what has caused the vertical banding?

Polaroid exposures can streak and bar for a variety of reasons. For this one, I'd say the developing reagent wasn't spreading just right as it passed through the camera's rollers. There are also artifacts that surface due to the scanning process if the scanner glass isn't absolutely clean and if the jig that I use to hold the print doesn't hold it completely flat. That seems to be happening here too.

All in all, I don't shoot Polaroid for absolutes in technical quality. I like the inconsistency of it and the variability of such artifacts give each frame a uniqueness that I find appealing.

This particular frame took very little adjustment or processing, just a bit of spotting etc.
