sorry, i feel like an idiot. however i have not used kodak photo flo in a long time.

bigger container, & not as clear mixing directions.

for kodak pro. photo-flo 200; 473 ml-16 oz.
there is a diagram indicating;

water-200
concentrate-1=201

i am used to seeing; mix a certain amount of ounces of solution
with a certain amount of water to equal a gallon.

it indicates 473=16 oz.
but not what the 200/201 ratio is

i'm assuming others on this site have used this product.
am i right to assume this entire container should be
mixed to conform to 1 gallon of solution?

thank you in advance.

One of the reasons I hate Photo Flo (besides the residue). I use Edwal's "LFN Wetting Agent." One or two drops in the tank during the last 30s of rinse and you're done. Tiny little bottle on your shelf that lasts forever...

this is a bigger bottle than i recall. i read something online about
200 parts water vs. 1 part solution. so i suppose i have to find
a different graduate. trying to figure out what that ratio = to
in a quart of liquid. or a gallon. i'm really bad at math.

Don't worry about the difference between 1:200 and 1:201 with Photoflo. So, add 476ml/200 = 2.4 ml. I'd go on the light side, so 2 ml of photoflo for 476 ml of water is probably fine. You might want to reduce it from that too. Many recommend using less than the recommended dilution because you can get photoflo scum on your negatives if you use too much of it.

I use 1 drop from MY eyedropper per ounce of water. It works out to be about 1:300.
