Hi all,
This is a real shot in the dark post, but here it goes:
I visited Paris several years ago and spent and afternoon at the Pompidou Center. I saw a photo there that has haunted me ever since. Unfortunately I did not have a pen and paper with me so I not able to right the info down. It is an old B&W photo (maybe taken in the 20's...not sure on this aspect). Long story short it is a shot of a cobblestone street running past a slaughter house. Running along the length of the street and leaning against the building is a row of severed limbs from livestock and horses. Pretty ghastly, but unforgettable. If anybody can help me out with the title/artist I would appreciate it (I would be interested in seeing more work of theirs).
Thanks!
