Hi, I just finished reorganizing and expanding my website. I added a bunch of 4x5" landscapes but also some 35mm RF shot images. My main home page is: http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~keirst/index.html , and the new ZM images are:
21mm/2.8 Biogon:
Boston Public Library
Symphony Hall Evacuation Rt.
25mm/2.8 Biogon:
NC Landscape 1
NC Landscape 2
The Bowl, Acadia NP

Damnit! I am trying very hard to resist the GAS urge to purchase a 25mm ZM. Your excellent photos are not helping at all!![]()

Tea Month Is Back!
Just added another 21mm shot:1369 Coffeehouse Teamonth. I can't wait to take this lens to Maine this summer! Anyone want a user Super-Angulon 21mm/3.4?
Most of these recent 35mm shots were captured with Fuji NPC or Pro 160C or Kodak 400UC. With these contrasty films the 21mm Biogon often needs dodging in the corners, but a lot less than the 21mm Super-Angulon. The 25mm rarely needs dodging.

Well, the Biogons have spoiled me for clarity, corner sharpness and low light fall off. I just sold the old Leitz Super-Angulon 21mm/3.4 to a guy in NYC. It's only substantial advantage over the ZM 21mm was its compactness and lower distortion, and in every other way the SA was inferior. The Biogon 21mm has a wider maximum aperture, more useably sharp apertures (great even at f/4), less coma and other aberrations. It's just outstanding.
I can't wait to go hiking with it in Maine, with my vacation coming up soon. It's been raining in Boston for so long the photographers are going crazy, and we all need a break!
