A friend was showing me her online gallery today ... she's a Brisbane local but I'd never heard of her. He's actually seen her working and said a lot of these portraits were shot very quickly on location with a minimum of equipment and because she works for a local TV show she has access to some fairly well known faces.

Digital of course and maybe not everyone's cup of tea but some of them are quite stunning IMO.

Probably Australia's most successful export next to Kylie Monogue. I think they have been one of the highest grossing entertainment acts in this country for some time now!

Still, I'd like to see a shot from Kylie Minogue in that gallery 😛

As far as digital goes (and available light, I admit) those shots are great. Nice little leave from fiddling my film gear 😀
