Photographer as model as photographer

One of my favorite hangouts is the nearby Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Great as a venue for indoor "street photography."

This sketch artist asked if I would pose for a portrait, thus turning the tables on me.

Tell him you'll trade him a print of the shot for the sketch! Seriously though, artists helping each other out feels great!

While he was sketching, I decided to offer him $20 no matter the quality of the image. When he was finished, he surprised me by offering it to me for $40. We negotiated and shook hands on $25.

My wife thought it was not a good likeness and that I overpaid. I think she meant that I am much better looking. 😀
