Photography Tumblrs?

(ps: anyone know how to modify themes to make images appear larger? I can't seem to get mine any wider than 500 pixels...)

It depends on what theme you have. Some themes have the option in "Appearance" to increase the width of the posts. If the option is not there you'll have to go to "theme" and at the bottom it says "use custom html" you then have to search for the pixel width in the CSS code and modify it to the dimensions that you want. (mine is currently at 700px) Command (or ctrl on pc) F will help you find it faster.

Also, the "NEXT" page button on your tumblr is invisible. You should fix that first.

On a non-design related note. I enjoyed your shots :D

I have a blog at wordpress.com. In what way is tumblr different to wordpress?

I used to use wordpress but I find tumblr to be better for my needs because I get a lot more traffic based on the ability to tag things. (similar to flickr/twitter) Also tumblr makes it easier for other users to reblog your posts and automatically credits and links back to your tumblr in the process. Which yet again gives you more random exposure. So that's why I dig it.

Noticed this picture. I was there too! On the wall across from her at the Ports 1961 show. If you don't mind me asking, who were you shooting for?

On a side note: I like your blog a lot but HATE the layout. The photos are so small it makes me cry inside because I want to see them larger without having to click every one. And I definitely think they deserve to be seen larger because you've got some winners there. Just my two cents.
