Not sure if this counts because the lens is a Jupiter 8, not a Canon lens. And in the long run, the camera is just a box to keep light off the film and the lens is what makes the photo. Oh well...

There is a smoothness to the rendering of the 50mm f2.8 lens that I like. It seems to me to be similar in some respects to that of the Leica Summaron 35mm f3.5.

I am quite impressed by this lens. I thought the 1.8 would be much better but there is something special about the 1.9 and I cannot quite figure it out.
