photos: the Color Skopar 21 used with the M-P

Continuing my lens testing/exploration with the M-P and my existing lenses...

all: Leica M-P + Color Skopar 21mm f/4​

All in all, a pretty good performance with the Color Skopar 21mm. It's a little easier to clean up the color shifting than the Color Skopar 28mm, and a bit more inspiring in terms of image rendering than the Ultron 28/2.

I knew my Color Skopars were going to be a challenge...

Looking pretty clean! I get a LOT of magenta color shading on the right edge of the image (and to a lesser extent on the left). Been using the Adobe FlatField plugin in Lightroom to correct it, but it's a bit of a pain to have to correct each image!

I haven't used the FlatField plugin yet. It probably does a better job... but I've created a preset that seems to get me 98% of the way there. You're welcome to try it—right click to save the lrtemplatge file to your local system, then import it:
