I broke down and picked up an Epson V700 the other day. I have Photoshop CS2 from when I made my previous scanner purchase. I see that the V700 comes with Elements 3 and checking out Adobe's site, CS3 is now the version of the day. Does the version of Elements 3 have anything worth while where I'd be compelled to load it or just toss the disk away a stay with CS2? Does CS3 add anything new where one would feel it necessary to shell out more money to upgrade?

In a nutshell, is my current version of CS2 still fully adequate?

Cheers,

I'd say that if you have CS2, you shouldn't lose too much sleep over Elements 3 (or even CS3 for that matter, although, as usual, it has a few new tricks up its sleeve, but nothing to gun my motor much, and I'm still happily using the original CS). You've got what you need, and then some, to get the most out of the scans you make with the V700.

Nice that they give away an obsolete program. Elem 5 is current for windows and 4 for the Mac.

You need to keep upgrading CS if you shoot raw with a new digi cam. If you scan, I would not bother.

Don`t install elements

I second that opinion.
