This is probably my all-time favourite lens for small-format cameras. It's tiny, robust, and plays damn well on both LTM and mirrorless. Here it is on an A7R:
It about matches the resolution of Sony's 36MP sensor in the center and has nice character on the corners.

I just got one of these, not bad for what I paid for it. I couldn't shoot smaller than f4 for my first test roll though so the edge sharpness is pretty poor. I can't really find much on here/flickr taken with the black/chrome version of this lens (the one I've bought).

When adapted on my mirrorless (Olympus E-M5 Mk1) the Mk1 I have is pretty sharp looking in the middle and just soft (almost focus distorted) at the edges up until about f/5.6 (still not as good as the center). Even with the 2.0x crop factor the edge falls off in resolution. I still need to get a roll thru it on my Canon 7.
For example this when I look at the center and edges (closest focusing distance though).

2.8 vs 8

It is nice though when it's a 'portrait' range on a cropped camera (E-M5 cropped shots)
8 second exposure, ISO 200, f/2.8

15 second exposure, ISO 200, f/2.8

30 second exposure, ISO 200, f/2.8

Another adapted to my Olympus E-M5 (I'm hoping to get some film samples by next week.)
f/2.8 wide open, ISO 200, 1/125th
100% crop (no resizing)
Processed for sepia of course.
And this earlier today, ISO 1600, 1/60th, f/2.8

Are you putting the extension tube on the LTM side, or on the x-mount side?

Ltm side. A small tube.
Nice. I have a 3-set of micro-4/3rd extension tubes coming mainly because it was much cheaper to get that than to find an LTM tube of sort. (plus I can always use those with my other adapted lens).

Mine has some fungus damage, but works well in low contrast scenes. Very strange curvature of field on even the A7s where the corners bend in toward the plane of focus. All-in-all, very small, sharp-enough lens.

Received one of these today. Remarkably sharp lens on an M typ 240 in indoor testing; need to actually try it on a Canon RF.
How bad flare are people getting pointing this at point light sources?
Thanks!

Mine performs better than my 35/1.8 does, but the 1.8 has some front element scratches that aren't helping.
Here are some examples: I know they aren't so much point light source, but you can see some of the general veiling flare that can show up on high contrast edges especially in the first one.
Pan F in HC110 stand, un-edited flatbed scans, mostly overcast day.

I had one and loved the results... as long as I was either stopped down a bit or close up enough that the corners were all bokeh. I eventually sold it as the corner softness was getting in the way too often when shooting on overcast days. And that year, Seattle was particularly grey.
It's a shame as the early silver version wa me fantastically compact and a great performer in better lighting.

This lens renders photos as nice as the Nikkor 3.5cm f2.5 lens does.
