pixelation in PSE 6.0 on-line galleries

When creating on-line galleries in Photoshop Elements 6.0 (Win XP), regardless of the type (jpg, psd), size, or quality(300dpi, 72dpi) of the original file, the photos in the galleries are pixelated to the point of useless. What am I missing? How can I get good quality renditions in the on-line galleries? Thanks. Tim Z
