Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good repair shop in NYC (Manhattan preferably) that does a good job of cleaning the M8's CCD.

I know its a small feat, but I've got a good amount of stuck dust. And I think I messed up a bit with the "brush" method and got some grease smears on the CCD.

So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I will give those places a call and see what comes out of it!

P.S. I contacted Essex Camera Services, and unfortunately they turned me down, saying they do not service the M8. :(

I have always cleaned the sensor in the M8 myself using the products from:
http://www.photosol.com/swabproduct.htm
Although these products are quite expensive in the Netherlands, the results are excellent.
The sensor in the M8 is very easily reached, as it is much closer to the lens mount than cameras with a mirror box.
The M8 has a cleaning mode in the menu. Battery MUST be fully charged and be careful not to close the shutter either by turning the camera off or touching the shutter release while the swab is inside.
Doing it myself means I can perform cleaning as often as necessary, using a blower for dry dust and the wet method when stubborn sticky dust or grease spots from the shutter appear.
