I picked this up yesterday used.
I can't seem to find out anything about it - it's model number etc.
It is very boxy for a Domke, and has hard sides:

looks like the 5xc model…is there a zippered opening on the bottom front?

Looks like it's from the Domke Satchel line, but the pockets inside the flap are odd.

A Domke F-805, apparently:

(This was a puzzle. I thought I knew the Domke line pretty well.)

I do think you are right - thanks very much.
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one puzzled!
It seems like a great bag, but it's still early days.

interesting, never saw one like that before...

lurker.
Around 2005, I tried really hard to find an F-805, but they were discontinued around then. Mekko was (and is?) making a nice copy of it, but I ended up finding a used one back then, on Lightstalkers.
Great bag, but I never used it for photo work. It's more of a midsize travel bag, good for carrying some gear plus plenty of books/papers and laptop. Something to take when maxxing out carry-on restrictions.
