NOT RFF but interesting. The Fujifilm Instax is bringing Polaroid style photography back.

From the Toronto Globe and Mail: "Outside of consumers, Ian Landy of Henry's cameras says some of his biggest instant film customers are penitentiaries and accounting firms using the film for ID badges, and restaurants giving out keepsakes."

Nice to see instant film on the rise! There's definitely something captivating about it. :)

How about police departments? It would seems to me that a clever lawyer could rip hole in a digital (ly manipulated) image, but then maybe there are no clever lawyers.

Forensic photography has always rested on the credentials and documentation supporting the authenticity of the photographs, not on the manipulability of the medium.

BTW, I've been out shooting with the Polaroid 600 Close-Up you sent my way. It works well! :)
