Few years ago I found a series of mini Japanese documentaries about famous Cameras on Youtube. Until recently I saw Chinese translation subs at Chinese forum and I think it should have English translation. Do there have anyone interest on those videos?

All I can do is translate the titles.

Starting at 3:01 of video Vol. 1 ニコン F の神話, you can see フォト工房キィートス (Kiitos) service center in Nishioi (Tokyo) that still exists and repairs older Nikon cameras... I was just there earlier today to pick up my F3HP (backup camera) which had some water damage from a previous owner... In recent years they have also regreased a Nikkor-H 28 f/3.5 (factory AI-ed) and AI-ed a Nikkor-P 10.5cm f/2.5... always great service.

The shop looks the same today as in the video ;-)

I was on the roof of that building shown from 0:45 to 0:51 just yesterday :D

The Nikon F is definitely not a myth... legend or tale would be a better translation :)

At lunch today? I was at the nearby MacDonald's drinking an ice coffee :)

actually... it was at lunch time... I arrived about 12:15-12:30 (today) and was in the office for around 30-45 minutes... There were a few people sitting outside at MacD's.

Was in shorts, baseball cap, sunglasses, blue polo shirt, and black backpack... Sorry I missed you ;-)
