Nice, Jim. Definitely a softer, smoother, T-grain look. I'm picturing the female portraits above with this processing and think they might be even lovelier.

I returned to film recently after a long absence and many year of using D-76 exclusively. I really enjoy seeing the results of everyone's standard processing methods and experiments.

Zeiss Ikon ZM, Voigtlander 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar VM (@f/2.8), Kodak T-Max 100, Xtol 1:1

I am experimenting with Xtol (after spending the last couple of years with Rodinal). The difference in grain structure is very apparent.

Great shot! And lens, film and developer play beautifully together to create this wonderful atmosphere.

Thanks, John. I'm excited to keep learning about Xtol and how it works in different situations.

I'm deeply moved by this picture, Lynn. And your caption underscores what I enjoy so much about photography; just a chance, random, passing encounter rendered forever with beauty and resonance. Wonderful.
