Many thanks Erik -- Interesting when you revisit an old image you might look at it and 'interpret' it in a different way. Certainly the case with this shot.
The photo is of Rob Gooblar -- one of my mentors when I was in undergrad at Ryerson in Toronto. The shot was taken at Chartres in 1993, Rob died in 1997 at age 52. Whenever I look at this photo it's like his ghost is paying me a visit.

Funny, I thought it was Chartres but I did not mention it because I was afraid I was wrong. Yes, wonderful photo.
