Okay, so I am expecting to see some photos from the Leica X1. There is now a separate thread for X2 photos.... I will post the first and see what you folks are doing with this compact digital camera.
My first post is my first shot whilst sitting at Manuel's Tavern in Atlanta with a friend. This image was a trial shot as my usual 50mm lens doesn't even come close to being usable in these tight quarters:

Interesting things to photograph whilst walking down any street in Atlanta even in the rain on a cold day in February. Like this one adjacent to Manuel's Tavern.

It's a classic leather tannery in Fez, Morocco.

Fascinating...I was thinking dye vats for apparel and other textiles, but would never have thought about a tannery! Nice photo as well as informational, thanks for posting.

Just sold my X1. Loved it while I used it. Both at ISO 1600 as I recall.

Maybe we can revive this thread, as it seems that it really never got far off the ground. Amid the recent Leica announcements and ideas banging around in my head about the X2, I figured I'd start bringing my X1 around with me a bit more frequently. Here's a shot at lunch today:

Looking forward to the day when I can have my own X1 bag with a couple of pre-owned X1 cameras.
