Posting images: a quick question

I've tried searching, but am unuable to find the (undoubtedly simple) trick to including large images (as opposed to attached thumbnails) in a post.

Use the "insert image" icon ... it looks like a mountain with a sun behind it and yellow sky. Then paste the web address of the image in question (can be no larger than 800 pixels in long dimension). If you're not using another server, the thumbnail feature on RFF generates usable web addresses for images.

adding on to Vince's post. I've found that using the "web address" of the image (copying the URL) doesn't work for me. However right-clicking or control-clicking (Mac) on the image and selecting Copy Image Address does work. For some hosting sites, like pBase, linking to the image isn't as reliable--sometimes the image shows-up and other times it doesn't.
