Hi All,

So to make a long story short my local "professional photo lab" scratched the dickens out of 4 rolls of film (my daughter's first birthday included - nice work "professional" lab!) So eventually I'm going to have to have the negs scanned so I can go in and fix the scratches with photoshop - which is tedious and no fun but whatever I know how to do it.

A search of the archive came up with little help - so I was wondering who any of you would recommend for good high-res scanning - something like 300dpi tiffs. The film is Superia 1600 and Ektar 100 if it matters. I'm in Columbus Ohio - but mailing it isn't a big deal.

Happy New Year to everyone and thanks in advance for any help.

I am going to be using Precision Camera for my C41 and other non B&W processing and scanning going forward. I am unhappy with the scanning from my local places and Dwayne's.

Ask and ye shall receive... thanks Robert and Rover. As film fades in mainstream use the competency of labs seems to be slipping. A good friend of mine used to process film at a local pro lab in a small town - she really took pride in what she did.
