So far this one has me stumped. After not doing any developing in a few months I souped a roll of TX 120 in Rodinal and discovered that the film was fogged from one end to the other. The images were there (barely), but the area between frames was clearly fogged. I thought that perhaps I had some light leaks in the old Isolette, but then today I souped a roll of Arista Premium 400 that I took with my OM-10 (also in Rodinal)---same thing, fogged. Clearly, it isn't the cameras. I use a changing bag to load my Sumigon tank, but there doesn't seem to be any damage to the bag, although I'm not quite sure yet how to do a definitive test of the bag's integrity. The tank itself seems to be in good shape. Any ideas?

How about the film edges and leaders? Did you leave these rolls in checked baggage by any chance?

How's your fixer? I wonder if it could be your fixer has given it up.

Wow...I hadn't even considered that! But now that you mention it, that fixer has been around for a while, and not in a completely air tight bottle.

Well, the good thing is, you can re-fix.

Yep...and those two rolls I shot were basically test rolls with nothing important on them. I'll be picking up a fresh batch of Lauder fixer tomorrow.Well, the good thing is, you can re-fix.
