Hi,
I recently bought a FED 5 with Industar 61 - after turning a few srews on the camera, the lens worked well with the rangefinder.
However, when I use the same lens on my Bessa R2M, at infinity setting the rangefinder doesn't match perfectly. The same happens when using the Voigtländer 21/4 on the FED - the rangefinder seems to need adjustment (but then, the Industar wouldn't work any more, I suppose).
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks! Eike

That´s normal. Both cameras use diferent thread distances (or lens to film distance) so you´ll have to adjust russian lenses for Leica/Voigtlander use, although it´s not a big deal as long as you don´t use them wide open or at minimum focus

Ah, I see. Thanks! I think I will leave things then as they are, as I use the Industar more on the FED. With the 21mm, the small differenze should be even less of a problem.
Is there any manual on the web how to adjust those lenses? I suppose that sooner or later I'll get anoter 50mm lens along with an FSU, then I could adjust at least one of them.

Kim Coxon has posted notes for adjusting and cleaning various lenses, including the I-61.
