I don't know if anybody else is having any problems, but all of the sudden, a couple of days ago, Firefox wouldn't let me access RFF.
For a long time, I thought that the site was down, but then I figured out that I could access the forum through history links to threads or posts, but not rangefindreforum.com, or when I was on the site, RFF Home.

What's the problem, and is it my fault?
Cheers

I always use Firefox and have no problems. With any browser where things behave strangely clear the cache: Tools|Options|Privacy|Cache|Clear

You might also consider removing the cookies for RFF: Tools|Options|Privacy|Cookies|ViewCookies
I'd avoid removing all cookies, just the ones for RFF.

If you are using the Linux version then (AFAIR) replace Tools with Edit|Preferences|...

I had problems yesterday, but it was the site. I couldn't connect or get any pages even in my history, and then after a while got a page saying that the site was experiencing problems. I'm running Firefox, but haven't checked for any updates in ages.

Same here: no problems.

Possible solution: clear the cache and restart Firefox. That should work 99% of the time.

Not to dwell on the obvious here, but did you spell "Rangefindreforum.com" the same way in your browser window as you did here? That might have caused a problem. 🙄

Tom

No, I typed Rangefinderforum.com.

Maybe I should type it in greek or something.

I'm still having problems, despite all your suggestions. But at least I've established that it is my computer, rather than the site.
Cheers
