After the thread of trix-x @3200 by dcsang, i got an unstoppable urge to test it also :) :). So i went one night with my Yashica Lynx 14 to popular bar zone in Lisbon and took some photos.
I developed it in Rodinal. Most of the photos were a bit unusable, but here are 3 that we can see what was photographed ... almost :) :)

I had the same issue using the 12,800 Pedro :)

I think a couple more rolls and I will be better at it. The spot lights (i.e. street lights, or such) really play a lot on the meter (if you have an in camera center weighted meter). It just takes some getting used to :)

Good stuff :)

Cheers

Great stuff! I have always liked avaiable light photos. These are well done. Great contrast and "zone" attributes. Does that make sense? Anyway, I like them.

About the exposure, my Yashica has is metter not working... but it doesent has 3200 settings also. So i did all the mettering with an Weston IV i bought 2nd hand on eBay..

Pedro, for 3200 these look quite good. Were the other frames on the roll over or under exposed?

Zone as in Ansel Adams zone? I realy dont know :) I've begun reading "the negative" but havent got the time to try his tecnics.

I'm having a hard time envisioning portly old Ansel, roaming those streets, thinking about Rodinal at 3200
